January 4, 2019 will remain in the history of Tajikistan as a day of sadness, because on this day died a lady who fought against injustice and was not afraid of anything; neither the threat of the authorities nor their insults scared her.
On this day, Faiziniso Vokhidova, the voice of justice in a society where there is no justice in our time, has passed away.
The Civil Committee for the Rescue of Political Hostages and Prisoners of Tajikistan (CCRHPT) expresses its condolences to those close to Fayziniso Vohidova and to the entire Tajiks. In connection with the sudden death of Fayziniso, CCRHPT demands from the authorities to conduct a full investigation into the sudden death of Fayziniso. According to her relatives, Fayziniso’s disease was not so serious as to lead to death.
