The National Committee for the Release of Political Hostages and Prisoners of Tajikistan informs you via this letter that Mustafo Hayotov is in charge of the propaganda department of “Group 24” political movement and has been kept in a prison of a refugee camp in Poland since June 2018. So far Mustafo has been waiting for the resolution of his case. Unfortunately, there has been no news on the matter of his case yet.
On August 6, 2019, Mustafo Hayotov went on a hunger strike due to likelihood of his extradition to Tajikistan by the Polish authorities. In case of his extradition he will be tortured like many others that were extradited to Tajikistan. Therefore, we strongly urge you not to allow his extradition to take place and not to hand him over to those cruel people. It is worth to remind that Mustafo Hayotov is not a member of any terrorist organization and has never committed any crime. His only fault is that he is a member of “Group 24”, a political movement which carries out peaceful activities and its representatives every year take part in OSCE conferences in Warsaw.
